Paul Schiffer to Formally Announce Candidacy for U.S. Congress at Local Rally and Speech

Canton, OH (PRWEB) January 9, 2008 -- On Tuesday, January 8th at 7pm, Paul Schiffer will formally announce that he is a candidate for United States Congress in the 16th Congressional district at a speech and rally to take place at the 356th Fighter Group restaurant in North Canton.

Introducing Mr. Schiffer will be retired U.S. Marine Corps Colonel H. 'Speed' Wilson.

Mr. Schiffer will deliver a prepared speech and will then take questions from the audience, including members of the media.

Paul Schiffer is a former U.S. Marine and a lifelong resident of Canton Ohio. Paul has experience in government relations where he worked to fight government excess and corruption with the Better Government Bureau. Paul has been a long time leader in the conservative movement, most notably as a pro life activist, and through his work to bring to light the plight of American prisoners of war. He has worked in radio for nearly a decade as a syndicated radio talk show host on Radio America, Salem, and most currently on the Right Talk radio network. Mr. Schiffer is also a literary agent, working for conservative writers, his most notable work coming with the publication of "Unfit For Command", the expose of John Kerry during the 2004 Presidential Election.
